3 UNIQUE BOOKSTORES IN SACRAMENTO
1. Amatoria Fine Art Books
1831 F St ste. A, Sacramento, CA 95811
Nestled on a quiet street in Midtown, Amatoria is the only bookstore in Sacramento that focuses exclusively on the arts. The offerings range from books on architecture to rare and collectible poetry.
2. Capital Books on K
1011 K St, Sacramento, CA 95814
Capital Books has multiple floors, with general offerings on the main level, sci-fi and horror in the basement, and Sacramento’s only dedicated romance bookstore, Knotty Novels, upstairs. They also host regular author events and book clubs for several genres.
3. Time Tested Books
1114 21st Street Sacramento, CA 95811
Time Tested Books is a longstanding secondhand bookstore with many antique treasures. The aisles are packed, but it feels cozy and inviting inside. They even have a $1 section, so you can find something to read no matter your budget.

COLD BREW AT SHADY COFFEE & TEA IN ROSEVILLE

There are several options for a good cup of coffee in downtown Roseville, but Shady Coffee & Tea is one of my favorite spots to spend time in. There are plenty of seating options, from a large outdoor area to the cozy brick “cave” inside. I like to get the cold brew with brown sugar.
